About the Author

Benjamin C. GodfreyBenjamin Godfrey is a retired music educator who has had a lifelong interest in the profound. At Furman University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Greenville, South Carolina, he instructs senior citizens in the art of balancing nature, science, and their beliefs.

Ben credits his motivation for writing Wisdom for a New Era to what Albert Einstein described as the mystic emotion; a religious awe of the universe. It is that same sense of awe that Einstein reported after watching Yehudi Menuhin perform at the age of thirteen in Berlin, and it is the most amazing experience available and universal to humankind.
