The Great Battle Between Mouth and Tongue

The essence of teamwork is brought to the fore in this short story.

In The Great Battle between Mouth and Tongue, the characters Mouth and Tongue have co-existed peacefully for decades, until the day comes when issues of self-importance erupt to confront their teamwork.

Mouth and Tongue eventually fall out and refuse to cooperate with each other, each thinking it is sufficient unto itself for its own existence. Their prolonged days of battle render not only them, but all other Body Parts, herein referred to as “House,” weak. The rippling effects of this battle jeopardize the health of every member of the House.

This very insightful story, simply written, provides lessons that bear on the inter-dependency of all things created, which are necessary to work together for the peaceful co-existence of mankind.
