About the Book

Golden Tendrils is the second edition of the same title.

The first book had 38 poems. The 100 poems in this edition each tell an intriguing story, and echo diverse experiences in life.

Some poems reflect the joys of life accompanied by the painful experiences one may face due to disappointments and rejection. Some show that change is inevitable, and that wisdom is needed to accept and deal with new developments.

The emotions depicted in the poetry are faced by both young and old, and therefore appeal to a wide audience. It is an emotional collection that will greatly move readers.

About the Author

Obbie Hagen was born in 1977 and raised in Selibe-Phikwe a mining town in the central part of the country of Botswana. She is the first born of five children from a miner and a housewife. She started writing while at Selibe-Phikwe Secondary school. She has completed her Diploma In Journalism and Short Story writing, through International Correspondence schools in 1999 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of North West in South Africa in 2004.
