Explore the Taboos and Truth About Human Sexuality
This Sexual Guide Opens
Pandora’s Box Once and for All
Everything’s out in the open when you raise the lid on Pandora’s Box. You will learn about sexual fantasies, love, why we have sex, the mythologies of our anatomy, sexual desire and arousal, orgasm, the taboo subject of solitary sex, the controversies of erotic preference and gender diversity, unusual sexual practices, and sexual violence.
Friction and Fantasy: Opening Pandora’s Box offers a historically informed way of trying to make sense of one of the most emblematic aspects of our humanity. Beginning with the seemingly simple query – what is sex? – this book takes you on a wide-ranging exploration of the complexities and mysteries of our sexual universe.
Coming to grips with sexuality is no easy task, because our attempts to understand and distinguish between reality and illusion are mired in myths, misinformation, moral and religious imperatives, lack of scientific knowledge, and even wishful thinking. You will find this a most stimulating read!
