Meet Cody and Lira, two individuals who live in different worlds. While Lira is a beautiful princess born into the enchanted world of royalty, Cody is a handsome young orphan who lives on the streets. Her life is filled with love, affection, and receiving everything she could possibly want.

Cody struggles to survive in a world that challenges his very existence. The ability to change his circumstances seems almost impossible, even though he possesses all the values and morals that allow him to be guided by conscience.

With Lira’s eighteenth birthday approaching, a curse foretold centuries before transforms her into an evil witch, manifesting a darkness within that is bent on destroying the universe.

The creatures in the enchanted world assist Cody to fulfill his destiny. A Pegasus finds Cody and transports him to the world where Lira and the forest creatures live.

It is written in a Great Book that a human has been chosen to destroy Lira and the dark forces. Cody embarks on his great journey with eight forest creatures, seeking an oracle who would advise them how to win this battle.

About the Author

Rochelle Booysen is a teacher at Fairvale Secondary, agovernment school in a suburb of Durban, Kwazulu Natal, South Africa. The mother of four teaches life sciences. Her son Cody inspired her to write this story. This is her first book.
