When Shingo doesn’t return, Thorn takes his companions to search for the missing monk. Along the way, Thorn finds proof that the wizards’ order may be a target of assassination, so Thorn sends the priestess Zalandrea along with his best friend Malic to help stop any attempt to kill wizards.<\/span><\/p>

Continuing on his quest to find the lost monk, Thorn ends up in a desert wasteland containing many unknown beings. Chad Lynch grew up in Haubstadt, Indiana, a small town in the southern part of the state. He now lives about 15 miles north in the even smaller town of Patoka, Indiana, population of about 600 and the oldest town in Gibson County. “I’ve loved the fantasy genre my whole life. I grew up reading fiction and fantasy and always wanted to come up with my own idea for a fantasy series.
