It was a regular day at Winterset Junior High School in Winterset, Iowa, when it was suddenly disrupted by an apocalyptic invasion carried out by Reficulian aliens.
In this first book of a series, 11-year-old Derrick survives the invasion, benefiting from a fluke in alien technology. He serves as both the main character and narrator. Unsure if the attack was limited to Winterset or if it had a global reach, Derrick encounters other young survivors who gradually unite in their struggle to survive.
Soon they meet a Keltian alien who is on their side. Lacking the power to defeat the Reficulians, Derrick’s small group of surviving children are given special abilities by the Keltian in the hope this will be enough to save the planet.
The children deal with many challenges as they encounter additional survivors. Through trial and error, they apply their newfound abilities to confront the Reficulians.
Do they have what is needed to conquer the aliens that have obliterated other planets? Can these kids outsmart and outmaneuver a more advanced civilization to preserve planet Earth?

Keltian's Warriors: Tellurian's Encounter -Book Two of the Keltian Series
In Book Two of the Keltian’s Warriors Series, the story unfolds with the five young survivors from Book One, who are united against an alien threat to Earth. They have acquired amazing abilities granted them by a friendly Keltian visitor from a distant galaxy.
Unexpected difficulties arise for the young Keltian’s Warriors, as a new survivor joins their group, an adult, who seeks to take over control. Discovering that this involves mixed blessings, the survivors also face additional threats, even while boosting their chances of survival.
As they explore, the survivors cross paths with an alien hybrid, setting off the exploration of a previously undiscovered scientific military bunker. In the midst of forming a bond between the hybrid and the survivors, the burning question arises: Can this hybrid be the ultimate answer to wiping out the Reficulians once and for all?
What capabilities does the hybrid have that could boost their chances of success against the Reficulians? What transformation occurs with the hybrid, solidifying his bond with the survivors?

Keltian's Warriors: Passage to Kelrian: Book Three of the Keltian Series
The survivors on Earth of an alien invasion, in Book Three of the Keltian’s Warriors Series, realize that they are being tracked and are forced to explore from the safety of the mine where they have been hiding. Their ship repaired, they find a new sanctuary, where the Reficulians have difficulty tolerating the temperature extremes.
Derrick finds himself dreaming more often about the Keltians, while his fellow young survivors are puzzled by the idea that they are the only ones capable of expelling the Reficulians from Earth. Their gifted skills have allowed them to aid other survivors, but their battle against the Reficulians is far from over.
They soon discover that in various regions worldwide, cities are being completely wiped out. It is only a matter of time before the group of young survivors is discovered by the Reficulians.

About the Author
Born in Oklahoma, Michael Datur-Soliday grew up in Iowa and Colorado. He was mainstreamed in public schools long before most students with a hearing impairment. “My son, whom I adopted from the island of Guam, is also deaf. I wanted to show him that there are no obstacles in life unless you make it one.” He received his B.S. from Utah State University and his M.Ed. from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College). In 1993, he received the Nevada Teacher of the Year award. He has also taught in Florida, Iowa, Guam, New York City, North Carolina, and Texas.
