This is a great read for kids and adults. Typically, I have to work hard to convince my daughter that “the story gets better” and “please, just read one more chapter” to get into the plot. Ms. Knott does an excellent job at grabbing the reader’s attention from the very first chapter and she keeps the reader’s attention throughout the novel. Honestly, it’s one of those books that is hard to put down because you’re so intrigued to find out what happens next. Bravo!

This is a brilliantly written book for child and adult. Mushin Knott is a master story-teller - she taps beautifully into child psychology, school life and the local geography of Virginia. Every element of the fantasy the author has weaved is based on logic and science .... it impresses upon the young reader to think rationally while reading the fast-paced fairy tale of Henry the chosen one and the astral Eulalie, as they go about defeating the hypno-food induced totalitarian dystopia of Big Brother Mocarsto. Ah, there are so many levels to the story! And I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Knott's style of writing .... for example, little Henry "......... loved having the house to himself when all was quiet, with the only sound a low hum of possibilities" - love it, love it ..... in my opinion, better than Harry Potter!!

Very much enjoyed this book. It's a fun ride that manages to seamlessly bring together quantum physics, baseball, fairies and an average boy. The reader soon discovers young Henry Harris is anything but ordinary as this reluctant hero faces colossal challenges and literally saves the world.

The author cleverly and imaginatively wisks the young hero to other worlds where interesting figures, both friends and foes, exist. This is a book for older children and young teenagers. There is plenty of excitement and suspense with very little violence. The author adds key life lessons and ways one should conduct him or her self socially without preaching. These lessons are also an important part of the book. I am a grandparent and enjoyed reading the book myself. I will be giving a copy to my grandchildren.
