I am from a small village in Scotland in the UK called Auchinleck.<\/p>\n
I studied physics at Stratchclyde University in Glasgow.<\/p>\n
I currently live alone in my two-bed flat in Reading in the UK.<\/p>\n
My first job was at Vickers Shipbuilders in Barrow-in-Furness in 1984 where I worked for 4 years as an IT software developer on weapons systems software. I worked in IT for a further 20 years \u2013 for companies Serco Systems for 9 years (north-east England & west London); EDS for 2 years (central & west London); and Energis (which was taken over by Cable and Wireless in about 2006) for a further 9 years (Reading & Bracknell).<\/p>\n
Due to ill-health I stopped working in about 2008.<\/p>\n
I am divorced with 2 children who live in France \u2013 David who is 11 and Ellie who is 9 (as at April 2015).<\/p>\n
I have been a Christian for about eleven-and-a-half years.<\/p>\n
From about 2012 God has given me six books to write.<\/p>\n
Two (\u201cA Young Person\u2019s Guide to Christianity\u201d and \u201cA Christian Understanding of Deception \u2013 Gaining an Appreciation of How satan Uses Deception\u201d) are published (September 2014 and June 2015\u00a0respectively).<\/p>\n
One more called \u201cSpiritual Disciplines for Today \u2013 Getting Closer to God\u201d and) should be published this month (June 2015).<\/p>\n
