Biography

Bullard Web PicDelores Bullard grew up in the small town of Peterboro, New York, which is the seat of where the Underground Railroad took slaves seeking freedom in Canada. “My grandparents worked for Mr. Miller, the first Holstein farmer. His home was used to help the slaves find refuge. I am black by at least five generations back.” The author now lives in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she teaches early childhood education to three year olds. “I have the opportunity to encourage, nurture, and train children in problem-solving skills and life-training skills.” This is her first book.
