In 2009 I had two major surgeries that laid me up for a year. During that time my hairdresser dared me to write a book. My first book was titled Another Foot In The Grave. I would write and publish two more books before my life took a nose dive and I found myself driving for one of those companies that replace taxis.
This was definitely not high on my bucket list, but I would soon find I loved driving other people around. I got to meet famous people, and not so famous people, go places I never heard about, and make a decent living working for myself when I wanted.
One day my beloved dog, Dakota, and I packed up and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.. I had been to Albuquerque on business and fell in love with the Southwest. Dakota and I would stay in Albuquerque for only one year and then move to Santa Fe. We have called Santa Fe home for the last six years.
